Relationship Things "Your Body. Your Choice." Card Promoting the female condom

The Relationship Things "Your Body. Your Choice." card is targeted at young women, and aims to promote the safer sex message, and help women and their sex partners understand the need to protect themselves against HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

Through this resource we are promoting the female condom as another choice when it comes to safer sex and contraception.  The female condom is the only available method controlled by women that protects against HIV, STIs and unintended pregnancy.

This resource draws on the theme of safe and respectful relationships that runs through the Relationship Things resources.  The resource reminds women that they have the right to choose when it comes to safer sex.

Women have the right to safer sex and respectful relationships, to feel safe, be safe, and say no.  They have the right to talk about safer sex and be heard, and to protect their body against HIV and STIs.
